Passivity favors the powerful. You have to react massively
Ruben Alexis Hernandez
The
COVID-19 pandemic and the serious consequences in various aspects derived from
government measures, supposedly necessary to successfully face the health
emergency, obviously unleashed enormous annoyance in many citizens in all
corners of the world, who have reacted in different ways. ways, including
through street protests recorded in European, American, Oceanic, African and
Asian nations. It is a true spontaneous planetary rebellion against the attempt
of the global elites to consolidate the new corporatic-totalitarian-digital-cybernetic
world order.
Now,
just as many have reacted against the criminal attempt of the powerful to
consolidate the misnamed globalization or world neoliberalism, there are also
millions of individuals who seem to be satisfied with the complicated
situation, others to whom the information-media-governmental manipulation it
has completely dumbfounded, and numerous beings who are simply mediocre
wretches who are afraid to fight for their well-being, their freedom and their
dignity. Of course, this is not an easy fight, considering, for example, that
the Status Quo has the resounding support of the armed forces to put down any
rebellion at the point of bullets and bombs. But there is no other way to
change the dark panorama that almost all of humanity already lives; a different
world, more solidary, fair and inclusive will never be projected by the elites,
who logically only watch over and will watch over their selfish interests.
The
passivity of many people in the context of the socio-economic tragedy and other
kinds that a large part of humanity lives, does nothing more than favor the
powerful, who thus feel comfortable and continue to do their thing, enriching
themselves even more and sinking hundreds of millions in poverty and misery in
full health emergency. So it is urgent that every day more and more citizens on
the planet join to fight against the new criminal-world order in the making,
energetically and in all possible ways. The rebellions that have occurred so
far are important, but greater intensity, magnitude, and popular participation
are needed. Imagine what would happen to the capitalist-neoliberal-global
Status Quo (including the misnamed socialism or communism of countries such as
Russia, China and some of their allies in America, Asia and Africa) if gigantic
social outbreaks in the style of of the so-called “Caracazo” (Venezuela, 1989),
or if millions of individuals left the state radar by establishing themselves
in self-sufficient communities from every point of view, a process that has
been happening on a small scale.
